Sunday 10.24.2010 No RUN: Therapy was AWESOME
Kidneys are aching so bad, I opted out of my 24 mile run until I can get into the DR. I am hoping to make it through the weekend without keeling over. The last time my kidneys ached I went to the ER. I can’t remember if I had a UTI or a kidney infection. Regardless, I have to make sure it’s not touluene or tetrachloride related. I had no fever so I went out for a bike ride. In the fancy new kit. It is awesome! I should get a picture on here so everyone can see.
The bike ride went well. I rode for 1.5 hours, zone 1. I had no power on the bike. My legs felt like crap, so did my lungs. It was a bike ride non the less and I was in a sexy new kit so it was awesome!
Yesterday was OFF, my cleaning marathon. I don’t know why I clean, it’s already dirty.
Friday was therapy. I rode the easy part of Northshore. And for the first time I can actually say I liked it. It was awesome. I rode slightly over 1.5 hours. The weather was threatening, and it began to rain, so I made the executive decision not to be 5 and a half miles from the car, if it turned really bad so I looped back. Then, hit Twin Coves and then the new section again. It was fun, great therapy. So now every Friday I’m doing therapy.
Thursday was a 2900 yard swim, I love swimming, I am looking forward to the finalization of the 50k run so I can do 3 days per week in the pool again. It’s nice to just go, and feel, and exercise with the mobility of every joint, feeling soft, no pressure on any of the body.
Wednesday: 50 minute run at Horseshoe, it was slow, great form, felt great.
Tuesday: 50 minute ride at Horseshoe. Still tired from 22 mile run on Sunday.
Monday, weebled and wobbled and didn’t fall down.
On to the Team:
Justin is back in Seattle, He has done pretty well his last two cyclocross races, especially since we haven’t been training that specifically in Texas:
Here’s some dirty pictures:
Thomas was going to debut the new kit at Rocky Hill Ranch 24 hour Race, depending on weather. I’ll be looking forward to an update there. It poured here, I don’t know what happened there.
Greg Hammer is pre-riding Waco.
I’ve been debuting the new kit all week.
Sounds like Classic Chevrolet is up for the sponsorship. Hoping to have a merger; Classic Zoefitness. Has a nice ring to it.
Meet my new friend:

She’ll be part of the Team the first week of December. We went Pro, with some small changes from the Team at Bicycles Plus we’ll have that down to the lightest weight possible. Working on getting it down to her twin sister, the Scott Scale 29’r RC = 21 pounds out of the box. I think, we can do it for half the price. That’s because Loose Lucy will be donating some of her parts to the cause.
Mmm, tasty can’t wait to meet her!
David is still in Europe. Michael has the weekend off of racing for some training. Kimmie is climbing mountains, and focusing on swimming, she has her eyes on her first Olympic distance triathlon.
Good Luck today Alyssa in Maui at Xterra Worlds Championship. I know you were sick in the beginning of the week, I hope you were able to pull it off, and your tires stayed full.
That covers the week.
