Zoe Means Life. ZoeFitness is Fitness for Life. Fitness is more than just waking up one day and deciding you "want to lose, 20, 40, or 100 pounds". It's about making healthier choices for LIFE. Take more steps each day; walking to the mailbox, parking further away from the door, taking your dogs, kids, and you out for an evening walk. It's about turning the television off more, it's about having 'dedicated' time for the computer. It's about making one healthier choice in your meal plan today. And tomorrow you notice you're feeling better, so you do a little bit more

It was, of course, a good week. All weeks are good, when we choose them. It was a long week. Time is never going back, and yesterday, my youngest monkey turned the clocks into double digits.  Both are turning into lovely women.  I may or may not be prepared for it. I've heard drinking helps. I think, the alternative will help too, ultra endurance exercise. For Me and for THEM. I always prefer the later. It was a marathon type of week.  With Elle Belle's birthday. Ken's here, and that is awesome!  He pulled in around 11 pm

Sometimes, I try new things, get involved with other things, generally speaking I like to update my blog once a week.  Any more time than that, and I can't remember. I am now on Twitter, you too can follow Zoefitness1.  I would like to follow you too.  I will be working on the whole Twitter/Facebook connection.  Please be patient with me.  As you are aware of, there are only so many hours in the day.  Which, of course, is never enough. I just learned, I can not eat garlic/onions anymore.  That's depressing,

I've never cried so much at the end of a Bike Race as I did today. Sometimes I cry because something is so hard, that it puts me in tears, literally crying to my Momma. Today, it was very different. It's the kind of experience that will leave you thinking, "Damn, I am so blessed, the hurdles in my life, are small compared to some others. Like the Team in Expedition Impossible; No Limits, with the blind dude. Like the Blind dude that did Xterra World Championships the year before I did it. Like spending an

I went up to King of the Mountain.  There's the State Championship Race this weekend.  I have always wanted to race King of the Mountain.  I thought, well, I better ride it. In the first couple of miles I saw a unicorn.  I had to walk a lot. I don't think it's advisable that I race King of the Mountain.  When the mind starts playing games on you at altitude, it can be freaky. So even though I enjoyed seeing the unicorn, I think, it's best not to continue the Fairy Tail, I
