Tip of the Day

30 minute Run to Starbuck's uphill at 5500 feet. 35oo yard/meter, not sure Swim.  and a weird sunburn.  Note to self remind little monkey to put sunscreen everywhere, and to cake it on. :o) I have so much energy, it's crazy, I feel GREAT

Had an awesome conversation with Thomas Mullins on the trail about tire pressure. He's so right. It's just another example of going back to OLD SCHOOL. In the olden days we used to just pump up our tires until they 'felt' right. And then, we were good to go. I have been using my tire pressure reader relegiously. Today, I lowered my tire pressure to 32 psi in back 28 up front. Thomas was like 'no way, there's over 40 pounds in each one of these. Then, he was explaining

Hip, hip hurray! It's been a long time, or at least it seems like it.  I've gotten in some great workouts, despite the heat.  I hit FOY Masters on Friday that was a blast.  Backstroke.  Thursday got in strength and a great 1 hour trail run.  I would have liked to go further, the heat actually held me back, I started at noon.  This week was so busy I don't know if I can remember it all.  I know I ran a Jeter Loop, I know I rode my bike, I

Ok, got to the trail at 6:32.  Headed out w/Rey for an EZ ride, shooting for 4 hours.  Picked up Scott and just strolled and walked and coasted.  It was fun.  I have decided it is very fun to COAST in the SHADE.  It was 73 degrees upon our arrival at the MADD shelter.  So we did a lap, in 1:30, roughly.  Then, I hung out and talked business with Rey and ate berries.  Then I headed out for a full lap including the Bamboo forest. 1:45.  I'm guessing I

A week gone by, already??  Crazy stuff, huh? So here's the week in a re-cap. I WANT MORE TIME :o) Sunday, found a really nice apartment.  I think, we're hoping to make an offer.  The new finance reform, disqualifies us or anybody from purchasing it.  The area we are looking into is 51% or greater rented.  So hopefully, we're working on some of the details.  Left ABQ at 5:00 TX time.  So I knew it was going to be tough getting home. The drive was awesome, we had an overnight in Quanah, only

I love running! I haven't loved running since the 9th grade. Today I did two Rolling Acre Loops and 2 Mark Lessley loops for a total of 8.5 miles.  I did this at an RPE of 4-5 on a 10 point scale, zone 1-2, for a total time of 76 minutes.  Sub 9 minute miles for Zone 1-2
