11.04.2010 Tip for Today
When you really believe in something, you see someone engaging in a wrong doing, or you know in your heart something is right. Fight for it. It's important to stand up for what you believe is right, because in your heart, everyone truly knows the difference between right and wrong.
11.3.2010 It’s been a crazy and exciting few days.
The fact that it's November already is crazy enough. We'll start with my Friday Therapy Session: I was hoping potential sponsor Classic Chevrolet would have a representative there. No luck. Teammate Thomas got called for a last minute job, and Coaching Client Rey and I hit the trail. I was tired and wanted to take it slow because I knew I had a long run on the weekend. We were going so slow that Rey eventually crashed. I made 2 sections I don't usually when I'm by myself but didn't have the gusto
uh, huh…registered Trademark
Been working on it for a year: ZoeFitness: It's not about being fast it's about getting faster. With Emblems and circles are now all a registered Trademark. Still can't talk about yesterday. :o
I remember when I couldn’t ride 2 laps
and Today I ran 2. More Later, Have a Happy and Safe Halloween.
How an Hour can Turn to 1:45 without Thought, literally.
I parked at the gate over off of Simmons Rd. I thought, oh, it should take me an hour to run to Rockledge Park and back. I got to the turn around in 45 and a massive fall that dumbfounded me and had me laughing at myself, "why do I take my mind off this?" Remember I sounded like a sailor. I met Daniel out there, I encouraged him to race a DORBA beginner race. I was planning on running for 90 minutes + or - 15. I planned for an hour and
Sunday 10.24.2010 No RUN: Therapy was AWESOME
Kidneys are aching so bad, I opted out of my 24 mile run until I can get into the DR. I am hoping to make it through the weekend without keeling over. The last time my kidneys ached I went to the ER. I can't remember if I had a UTI or a kidney infection. Regardless, I have to make sure it's not touluene or tetrachloride related. I had no fever so I went out for a bike ride. In the fancy new kit. It is awesome! I should get
10.19.2010: It used to be my favorite Place
Knob Hill, not so high on the list any more. I went for a quick ride there. Glad I didn't have much time because I didn't have much juice either. It was perfect really. That trail just hasn't been the same since the '07 floods. It's a crying shame really. Saw a couple of Organ Donors out there without their helmets. Yesterday I failed the stair test at Larry North so that's always a mandatory day off. I do wish I would have had time to swim today. I'm jones-ing for the pool. I
10.17.2010 3 hours and 35 minutes
That was long, that became very painful and I am still alive. I'll have to check to see if I still have a toenail. In the meantime, I"m going to put my 2XU compression tights on and work on recovery.
10.16.2010 Not such a good therapy session
Today is a day of active recovery and if I don't burn out on 50 and 75 bag of mulch and rock and I don't collapse while doing it, like last time, I'll get a recovery ride in later. Yesterday my swim workout was a 4200. Ikes, ran out of time, only had an hour, for a solid 2800. 400 swim/300 pull/200 breast/back and 100 IM. 9 x 200 Stairway to Heaven, or as Tom of Fountain of Youth then, laughs as everybody chimes in Hell. Add a fast lenght every 200. After
