As always, just as I am excited to bring in a new day, it's equally exciting, if not more exciting, to bring in a New Year. Got all the training in; My foot started really hurting again on Wednesday. Still planning on going; this was my plan. Ride with Michael Winegar on Friday, decide if I was going to race then. Only because my foot has hurt so bad the last 3 days. I know everything happens for a reason, but it still doesn't mean I'm not totally pissed off, sulking, and having a tough time just letting go. Happy Fairy Princess. Generally about this time I am suffering from Pre Race Pneumonia. There is no pre race pneumonia, only a broken foot. It's amazing what I have been able to accomplish in the last couple of weeks. Not my favorite way to train, but It Works: Crash Training It works, especially if you already have a strong foundation of fitness. It doesn't always work for everybody, well, I guess it could.
