New Year’s Eve Eve

Why wait to get your goals rollin’ tomorrow?!

Don’t wait, get started on them today.  Right Now.

You’re so worth the investment.

I’m not sure why you’re not sold on that yet.

So, there are always goals.

For me,

Goals are what keep me rolling, period.

Some of my Goals are Me Goals.  Things I want to do for me.

Here are some examples:

Ride to the Agave,

Ride around the Mountain to the Very Top via KOM,

Eat Healthy

And Enjoy Life.

Some of my Goals are athletic related:

Ironman

10:30 LT 100

Be part of the 1 minute club.

Some of my Goals are Career Oriented; which also fall into being the Best Person I can be for Others.

Mentoring with one of the top coaches or 2, 3, or 4 in the country.

Stay up to date in my Education.  This is very important to me, has and always will be!  I do a minimum average of 20 hours per year.

Sometimes my goals are daily oriented, wake up at 530, swim, bike, run, whatever it is, I set it as a goal, something I want to achieve in the day.

It generally involves a cup of coffee and a list.

Whatever is on the list from yesterday, gets brought over, and then, there’s the A-List, and I add the other stuff to the list.

These are all goals, that I have made attainable simply,

By Defining What the Goals Are.

One of my goals: Ride to Agave over looking 40.

This began a few weeks back, but then, ended up getting pushed into 2013 because well, I tried and had to abort the mission more than half way through because for that day I thought I was tougher than I was.  I began that journey with a climb up La Luz and then in at the Tram:

Oh, don’t get me wrong it was a great ride, but by the time I got to the South Foot Hills via the North Foot Hill, in reverse, I had to abort.  I was just too damn tired!

So this time around I decided I best just head into Bear Canyon, over to South Foot hills to Agave.

And it was totally successful.

And equally painful.

I have never been so grateful to run out of daylight in my life.

I would have gotten my ass back to North Foot Hills, but saved by the low sun and the Watermelon.

I had to hike my bike down to the Agave. And you know what, it was fun.  It became very, very painful, I wasn’t sure if I was on THE trail, I only knew I was on a trail.  And after that hike-a-bike my legs were fried!

I am very, very happy to have already knocked off one of my goals for the year:
