Wishy Washy-ness at it’s Finest
Going into the weekend I was like,
‘Am I going to race, am I not going to race?’
Am I going to race, am I not going to race?
Pre Rode the course on Thursday, Fun Course!
Oak Flats.
I really wanted to race.
I don’t have much time left in ABQ, while I live here, until retirement and vacations. Which don’t worry, will be a lot.
I really want to get my name out there, to be present, as much as I am able.
Plus a good race would be good for my taper.
But not a 3 hour race.
🙂
a 2 hour race, that I could go for.
It would be a “c” race.
Dawn to Dusk is an “A/B” race.
I really want to do well there, but it’s not my “A” race for the season.
So I got my SS.
But that is still 3 laps, 2 laps would have been a no brainer.
My youngest monkey last week at a fever of 103, and I don’t want to race what is going to be close to 3 hours.
When I don’t even know if I am going to make it through without getting the debilitating virus that got her.
I made my long ride on Thursday with 4 laps on the course, and opted out of racing, and had an awesome 1.5 hour ride in the South Foothills, brutal on the climbs, great taper.
Kimmie raced, she won her age group:
The rest of us were just busy training, nothing too exciting to take note of.
I got my SS back after months; fork rebuild. I love my SS!
Kyle Martinez got a power meter. I’m scared, the World should be scared. His NP for a 2 hour ride is like 260 watts.
Look Out!
