The Balance of Recovery
Recovery is the most important workout on your schedule. There’s the perfect amount of recovery for everyone. As we get older our bodies need a little more recovery than when we were younger. Being in tune with these changes is an important element of what I do. Too much recovery and there will be changes in the mitochondria that indicates a loss of fitness. Too little recovery and the body doesn’t have time to re-build after all the hard work. In other words, it won’t get stronger from the training stimulus. Finding that balance to help you train and race at your ultimate potential is just one of the many things I do to help you get faster.
