Here’s What They Took out of my Hand
No idea what it is, it’s not Maui, could be asphalt, so she sent it to Pathology.
The incision has 3 stitches. It’s tiny, bigger compared to the size of the thingy. Glad it’s out.
I knew on Thursday when I was going to ride my bike really fast and had a 10 on a 10 point scale for pain, I was probably doing the right thing.
I gave the specific directions to the Doctor, from Ladue, Missouri (I think, that’s why I let her cut me open, homie trust) If it spiders down into muscle tissue, take a small sample off the top, leave the muscle tissue alone, and sew me up. Wake me up and let’s talk.
I made the right decision. The Beir Block has worn off. There’s some pain, she Rx me the devil. Oh great, more of the devil. Which, hopefully, I won’t have to take.
Thursday: went and hung out at the bike shop: finally picked up my boyfriend Scott. Picked out:
Wednesday: Swam a 2600 with Coach, ran an hour in deeper than ankle snow. Best run I have ever had in my life!! I smiled for-EVER!
