6.6.10

I love Sundays, I love life, I love doing different things.  This morning I wanted to go help out a friend, Terra Firma Promo and a client, Rich Szecsy so my alarm went of at 4 AM.  I showed up just in time.  Rich had just given up on eating, or drinking anything but water.  I brought my usual nummy nums:  watermelon, big hit, didn’t bring near enough.  Moldy poops, otherwise known as ‘caveman bars’: dates, honey, cashews and coconut, espresso, he didn’t like that too much and chicken, that was a pretty big hit.  I’ve never seen my buddy Ray, having such a hard time.  That’s why I was sad I didn’t have more watermelon, he could have for sure used the watermelon.  Rich did a great job, he really stuck with it and beat what he calls the wizards.

I ran off road with my Vibram 5 fingers today.  I ran for 45 minutes.  I can barely walk.  I thought I have been wearing them, working up to them, doing it right.  However, the real deal is that the REAL deal, nothing compares.

Saturday I rode for almost two hours in the heat of the day.  Ikes, it was hot.  I only used my top three gears, but with the great week of training and the jaw hurting, it was good.

Friday, I went for a run around Jeter Loop.  Not any speed records.  Well, my first mile was in 6:30, but it apparently went down hill fast, for a total running time of 54 minutes.

Thursday I swam a 2000, and lifted weights.

Tuesday had a great track workout, albeit hot, the last noon workout for the summer.

Also, had a good swim

That’ all that’s coming to me right now, I’m focused on the movie.  That thing that happened to the Morgan’s.  It’s pretty good.

Monday had a good ride and a good swim.

The oil and gas thing is going.  We have made some small steps in the right direction.  They are supposed to be bringing frack material into the tanks soon, but they are putting the compressors on site, temporarily.  Yesterday on my ride, I saw three areas that fracking material was dumped.  One is a whole field, directly in front of a gas well.  That just looks like it leaking.  I’ve never seen anything like it.  I don’t know what to do about it.  The cows in front of a well that they just finished fracking are getting orange-ish markings on them.  I’ve never seen that either.  I’ve heard it’s from methane poisoning.    I’m not quite sure what to do about that, either.

Here’s to another week.
