That would be my first ever. It was an interesting morning. Getting no sleep, My monkey had fever bad enough that I had to medicate during the night. She was barfing all day on Friday. The dogs were up twice, making for a 4 x interruptions. The wind was so strong, that also woke me up a couple of times. It was so loud it reminded me of sleeping in the back of my truck. Although my alarm was set for 3 something I didn’t hear it until after 4 at which point I got up, started loading the car, made my breakfast and headed out. I was already late leaving by 4:45, but I thought with the time of day it wouldn’t be a problem driving 210 miles in 3 hours. I had to get gas, Wal-mart look kind of dark, I thought it was 24 hour, I pulled off in Roanoke to fill up and couldn’t; at which point, my prediction of feeling better after having some coffee was falsified, I felt worse, so I continued on a different path, 114 west to 35-w North to 407 to home. Walked the dogs and went to Masters.
Once at Masters, even though swimming easy, had to stop about every 50 to catch my breath. Was I glad that I wasn’t fearing 55 degree water without my thermal cap?!? Hell YES!! BTW, Dad, I need that back. Coach Tom is back, yeah, I was able to ask him about what the heck I do with head while I swim. Glad I got that worked out. And it feels a lot better. My field of vision wasn’t in the right spot and I was breathing late. The whole stroke really came together for me yesterday.
Today I’m going to take the bike out and talk to the animals after I eat my 4 eggs and finish my coffee.
I’m on a z-pack and woke up this morning, ear feels better, throat feels better, sinus’ feel better. I must have just been jammed pack with bacteria laden mucousa. So now, antibiotic and probiotic and work. I wanna go hide in the yard and play all day, I have people they want to know what their weeks look like. Me, I can’t wait until Wednesday, at which point I am going to go play until 2 PM on the trails, and NO ONE, NO ONE is going to stop me!!
