Day IV of Detox
Other than detox it’s been a great week!
Yesterday did an awesome recovery ride down at the Bosque, it was weird doing a ‘group ride’ on a bike trail, but it was perfect practice. It has been a long time since riding in a group. Group Rides stopped in North Texas when I could no longer ride my bike on the road. I dropped back a couple of times due to nerves and then, just put some weight into the peddles to catch back up. Just giving myself a little bit of space on areas that I didn’t know, or when taking a drink.
It felt good,
It felt comfortable.
Great group of girls, can’t wait to ride again with them!
Wednesday was long and hard. I ran .5 miles with little Ellie Bellie, then ran for 50 minutes off road with the tail waggers. Then, swam 2200 by 400’s for time. I did do some 25’s in there too.
I under estimated my time for the 500, so I have got to make it. As tired as my legs were I managed a 5:55. So I know, for race day I will be good to go by time.
Tuesday I went to the track.
This was painful:
Both mentally
And physically.
Physically painful because it’s been a very long time since running on that kind of surface. Mentally, because my times sucked, and I couldn’t get many 400’s in.

See, told you it was painful.
I haven’t lived in my home for 2.5 months. I went to the DR the other day. An integrative medicine Doctor. What all DR’s should be. We are doing a detox, plus probiotics and blood work to get me all rolling again.
Going swimming, will finish laterZ
