Rule #1 Have Fun
This is the most important rule of training, and racing. It must be fun. The fun part will come just as that peak training is completed, with the recognition that now comes the time to rest and recover". The take home message; the last 2 weeks, not the last 2 months. I have been very excited

Stabbing pain, radiating out through my entire brain. The significance is that I rarely have headaches. I have headaches when I am exposed to petroleum based chemicals, even living in North Texas during the Natural Gas Boom, nothing has ever compared to it.
