Running Pose 3
By running in a position of perfect balance, the runner wastes no energy in extraneous movements that only serve to correct balance. That is why it's imperative to spend so much time perfecting the running pose in the beginning. You must master the simplicity of the Running Pose before moving on to the intricacy of actually running.

Did I mention: I’m Ba-aack
:o I competed in my first Mountain Bike Race since Comfort of January 2010. It was AWESOME, it was fabulous. It was very scary Sunday morning because I was light headed, sick to my stomach and dizzy all morning while I was getting ready, as I got over to Northshore, via my route, my symptoms were getting worse. I was nervous, of course, that I would be to ill to race. I was sad. I cried to my friend Jen about how sad I get when to feeling this way. It's one
12.2.2010 Hmmm, Midnight and still Rolling
The most freakish part of that, is I never had my other 2 shots of espresso today. Now that is freakish. Today I rode for just over an hour, I'm racing on Sunday. I am registered, I have a babysitter, and I am developing large amounts of boogers and a cough. Is that a virus or is that a different kind of race, go peak and see. I did get most of NS done on SS. I love SS. I would like to ride 2 laps tomorrow. I have got to get my shock dialed
I’m pretty sure this is fun
Otherwise, I don't think, he would keep doing it. :o. Justin is having a blast up in Washington racing cross. He just finished the regular season and will be racing the weekend in Portland Oregon. Good Luck, Justin!
In the Art of Running Pose
In the art of running Pose, the runner is perfectly balanced on his or her support. A direct line of the body goes from the head, through the shoulders and buttocks all the way to the ball of the foot that is contact with the ground. The heel of the support leg is slightly higher than the ball of the foot and may even lightly touch the ground, but the weight of the body always rests only on the front part of the foot and not on the toes.
My Favorite Part of Thanksgiving:
Mmm, the leftovers. I'm having a big plate right now. It is really tasty. And my gravy, is the best gravy I have ever had. Sorry Grandma, I think, I may have just, for the first time in my life, made my gravy better than yours. I can't believe, it I know, but it's true. Ken's a funny guy, he was talking to one of our friends, getting a ride together and all of a sudden I was mountain biking on Thanksgiving, the coldest day that we're here. Of course, I
11.20.2010 Wild Hare Meets the Crazy Tortoise: Part I
Finished, Tried to not fall apart mentally, succeeded. Tried to not fall apart physically, a little more difficult. 5:56 and some change. Good enough for a podium finish; 3rd place
The Wild Hare Meets the Crazy Tortoise: Part Non
Here I am 8:55 PM and I'm ready for the nightie night. I have been since 7:40 but something I hate to have happen on race night is, waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to go to sleep. So here it is, talked to my ol' man for at least an hour. I'm lucky to be here. His car broke down in Austin, had to be towed, and 40 miles from Bluff Creek Ranch I was certain I was going to have to turn around
Wow, time flies, when you’re having fun
Read more about Greg's race under Mountain Biking on the forum. I can hardly wait to hear how he did at ol'Juan Poleta's. I haven't really had to train too much. It's been nice, I think. :o My Grandma turned 90 over the weekend. She is an amazing woman. She is pretty bright, aside from her memory problem. For 90 she's doing great. We had fun, we went out to eat, we went to the movies, we out to eat. My bowels weren't too happy by the end of it. Did you know there
