On the Barnett Shale energy doesn’t last forever, because when they finish one job they start a new one. Or like today, the wind changes directions. They started a new one too, but hopefully that one is too far away from me.
I worked my butt off today. Got the SRAM proposal in for Team Zoe Fitness. Still trying to figure out what MBAS is, that’s a research process in itself. I should conduct a research article:
Gas Drilling Production and Performance In Endurance Athletes.
Hmm…I may just be able to pull that off. I wonder how. I would have to do all sub maximal testing and retesting. I would have to design a subjective questionaire in regards to energy levels…hmm. I wonder if I could get any doctors in on it. There is something substantial here. I wish I had a lab! And then, of course, I would have to find subjects.
So needless to say after my huge exposure yesterday, I am barely myself today. I swam but stop counting when I recognized how tired I was. I did a 600 w/u and then started doing all this fun stuff with fins: 1 arm butterfly with fins and breast stroke with fins. Yeah, my 1st place monkey in the 10 and unders was beating me in this one, that’s how much energy I don’t have. I would say it was yesterday, but I do yesterday so often, I know my body better than that. Then, I went into drills, I always love drills. Except when it’s for natural gas.
Drills are the way to get faster when you are tired. Working on stroke technique. All in all it was a great swim.
My friend RunnerSusan asked me if I wanted to run 10 on 10.10.10. Hell yes! But I told her that’s the day after the Lake Travis Relay swim, so there’s a good chance I will be running 10 on 10.10.10 over 10
(minute miles 😮 ) That sure beats 6.6.6. Ikes that’s too scary for me.
I did tell the seniors today bring me a ghost story next week.
