Zoefitness Virtual Bosque Big Wheel Challenge 2020

Ladies and Gentlemen Rev your Engines for the Virtual Bosque Big Wheel Challenge!

What is it:

A totally free virtual race.

When is it: You have from today May 4th, 2020 until May 13th, 2020 at Midnight to complete it.

Where is it:

It starts at the North Alameda dirt parking lot. The race starts, once you cross the bridge. You head north on the single track to the Beach. It is at the beach you must take a photo of the bike you’re racing leaning against the gate, the race finishes as you exit the single track back at the north parking lot.

Rules: 1) It must be done on a mountain bike with 2.0 or greater tires. 2) You must have fun 3) You must not ruin someone else’s experience, and 4) No complaining.

1st Place Male and Female finishers you will receive 40.00 dollars in FREE Zoefitness Schwag.

2nd Place Male and Female finishers you will receive 20.00 dollars in FREE Zoefitness Schwag.

I will not chase down your results. You must provide them. I would guess that the easiest way would be to join the Zoefitness Strava group. I have created a segment on Strava called Zoefitness Virtual Bosque Big Wheel Challenge 2020. Please send your results to zoe@zoefitness.com. The results will be based on total time, not riding time, and will include the time to take your bike leaning photo.

This event is all about strategy. I am not going to provide a gpx file, you may go out, and back on the same singletrack, or you may take one of the off shoots, that’s all part of the strategy, no ditch road, singletrack only. The time of day, will affect your results, the amount of people on the trail will also impact your strategy, and results. This is an open course, and you MUST follow proper trail etiquette while participating. That includes, stopping for horses, and being polite. You may choose to do the course more than one time, and I will take your best time during the challenge.
