Today
is the first day of the rest of my life.
And I had a pretty good run considering I have been sick all week. I ran at the back of Twin Coves Park, so it felt really good to connect with God and enjoy all that has been put here on Earth for us TO TAKE CARE OF.
That’s right: We’re supposed to take care of the Earth. I believe the exact wording is, “we shall inherit the Earth”. So what the heck are we doing? Why are we destroying it? I had another realization while I was walking the tail waggers.
And that is I live in a DEMOCRACY. This is a place where I have freedom of speech.
There are a lot of people who think we have a socialist President. I live in a School District where the children don’t get to watch the President’s speech to the children. This is disrespectful and down right embarrassing that one can not put aside their own political agendas to educate the children, and show them how to respect the President even if they disagree with him. It’s a crying shame. Of course, not everybody is going to agree with the President. Duh?!? It’s always been that way. But be honest with yourselves, is this because he’s black? Is this because…c’mon come clean. But still the guy deserves respect. Just exactly the way you do.
This really got me thinking about EVERYTHING that is going on. I don’t believe we have a socialist government. I realized that between the Koch Brothers, and a few other extremely wealthy individuals that my option to living in a socialist government is living in a near communist government. Where the laws and the socially, economically elite govern us. To me, that’s not the people governing.
Why should only a few be allowed to make all the decisions?
Why should our government be paid off through lobbying from the few that have all the money?
This is not democracy, this is social economic elite. And those socially economic elite, DO NOT BY ANY MEANS have any CARE about you and me. When we truly analyze what all this hooplah is about, it’s about those few socially, economically elite, taking MORE for THEMSELVES and leaving less for everybody else. There’s a metaphor that I would like to share, and if you regulary read my blog, I’m sure you can imagine, exactly what I’m refering to. It’s every where, and it’s killing us, why? So a few can take MORE for themselves, while simultaneously leaving us without clean air to breath or clean water to drink.
But truly what I think we deserve is a DEMOCRATIC Government.
We do need change, and it’s not going to come from anybody who is currently in government, because both sides are being bought. This is not a Democracy. I think, we need to start over, and really think about change and go back to Town Hall Meetings and having a government for the People.
Not any of this; I scratch your back, you scratch my back kind of lame excuse of a government we have now. So what do you really want? Think about it, commit to it, and fight your way to the top of the political pyramid, starting at your local Town Hall.
It’s ridiculous, we’re spending money we don’t have on things we don’t need. There’s very few things we truly do need. I say, give me the red pen. I’m not going to be everybody’s favorite, I’ll fix all the problems. It will definitely cause a tail spin, and probably a temporary black hole.
