The wrath of Don Julio
I thought Don Julio was a friend of mine. As always, tying a good one on, leaves me with the reminder of why I only tie one on a couple of times per year. I had a beer and two Don Julios last night. They were tasty then, not so much now. Right now I want bacon and hash browns! Get me bacon and hash browns. So we did manage to go through a full bottle of Don Julio. I really appreciate everyone who came over to partake in the first ever Gluten Free Pot Luck. I am so grateful that people really showed their adventurous self and read labels. I would have been nervous, myself put into that situation, but that’s part of growing is stepping outside of our comfort box. We had an exciting menu. I made chili (frito pie), and banana muffins. We had a delicious rice risotto, con queso, sushi, shrimp, fruit, lots of fruit and veggies. What’s left over?!? Which by the way, the fruit is totally gone. :o) We had german potato salad, what else. It was good. Thanks to everybody who made it possible.
I have been chatting back and forth this morning about the current affairs of Twin Coves Park. It’s on the table with the City of Flower Mound.
I’m not sure how much more I can take, I need bacon and hash browns. Guess, I’ll take my work folders up…bacon and hash browns here I come.
Just another reason I like to keep my good friend Don Julio a little further than arms reach away! :o) My ride is going to be painful!
