The best way to describe it is Wow; Wow-zapalooza. What is Hut to Hut? It's a 6 night adventure via bicycle through a hut system from Durango to Moab:   I committed to the event about a year and a half ago.  I committed to schlepping the kitchen through the San Juan Mountains. I love Back Country.  Although 6 days would be the longest I have gone. I knew the truck would hold up well, as the guys at the shop said, it's the best shape they have ever seen the make and model of my vehicle.

Where to start?   I guess with the fact that I got a did get to pre-ride the course. This is one time that is actually happened. For the most part I do not get a chance to pre-ride, and that is a bad idea when the course changes every 2 weeks.   I decided to to run the same gear that I have ridden all season, but after seeing that the start was to be uphill I thought it might have been a bad idea to not switch to a bigger cog in the back. It's a great and exciting weekend for Team Zoefitness and Zoefitness coached athletes. There's a lot  going on, all around the country. If you're at one of our events come by and say 'hello' we would love to see you. Kyle Martinez and Zoe Nance will be racing in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  The Adoption Exchange.  This will be an Omnium; the TT and the Crit are Saturday and the Road Race will be on Sunday, with the Nance kids Lemonade Stand.  This is a Zoefitness sponsored event.  I'm very proud to be a part

Zoefitness Update: Chef Connie Bakes is at Cedar Hill State Park supporting the racers at the Terra Firma Racing Eco Lonestar Adventure Race so stop by and say ‘hello’ to Connie and Thomas. Last Weekend was Mellow Johnny’s and although we did not have anyone race specifically: Thomas and Connie were supporting our ambassadors from Wisconsin and Greg Hammer was out volunteering as sweep.  Thanks Guys! Greg Hammer went to Big Bend National Park representing at the Chihuahuan Mountain Bike Festival in Terlingua, Texas.  That place is totally amazing!   Collette ran 3rd place finish

What an exiting Weekend for Zoefitness Team and Coached Athletes: Collete Haney participated in her 1st ever 24 hour Mountian Bike Race Old Pueblo as part of a Co-Ed 2 Man Team.  14th Place.  She got in a total of 80 miles, her longest ride ever!!  And her 3rd Mountain Bike Race.  Congratulations! Kyle Martinez over in was also in Arizona; despite a crash in the last couple of hundred yards when someone hooked his handlebars he still completed the GC at 2013 VALLEY OF THE SUN STAGE RACE in 11th Place. 1:39
