Everybody needs a pair of these shoes!!

Ha, Ha,

made you look.

It’s been 2 months since I’ve broken my toe.

Tip: Don’t ever have un-pure, or mean thoughts about someone, or the negative energy will getcha!

I decreased my volume and intensity on running.  I would feel it sometimes, but the the last few days it was incredibly painful.  So off I went…

Chipped bone, and sprained ligament.   The ligament would explain the pain below the joint.  That’s actually the exact thing that was worrying the most.  I had to make sure I wasn’t working with a stress fracture of some kind, something that would debilitate me for another year.

So I bought a new fashion boot.  Since losing my 2 acres in the country; I walk the dogs, and walk the dogs, and walk the dogs.  Riding my bike getting ready for Palo Duro, swimming, and jogging lightly 1 day or two per week, just wasn’t letting it heal.  Tuesday tore me apart for whatever reason and up to that point I have been basically experiencing an occasional nuisance or slight discomfort.

The boot is primarily to protect my foot on my endless walks with the dogs.

I won’t run on it either.  I was OK’d for biking and swimming without push off on the wall.

Today’s a wash.  Went to the bike shop, picked up my race wheels and bought the girls a ton of socks.

Went and looked at windows, we’re updating some stuff.

Talked to my good friend Kathy about stuff.  Trying to talk her into a pair of Rudy Project sunglasses.

Was only going to post about my boot, I figure I may as well finish this, since I’m 3 days out of my normally scheduled blog day.

Wednesday spent all day at the DR, getting boot and Rx.

Tuesday rode for 2 hours, super EZ terrain and intensity.  Did a couple of intervals on the flats.

We went out to the Placitas.  There were 6 of us.  It was fun.  We did barely any singletrack.  As you can tell there’s nothing lacking in beauty.

I can’t wait to go out there and get lost for hours.  Literally.  It’s a road that goes in a circle and there’s a ton of off shoots.

You can’t really get lost any where around here because all you have to do, if you’re mountain biking, is go down.  You’ll eventually get somewhere.

There’s biking trails, hiking trails.  I don’t think I will go out there and get lost tomorrow because, well, I would want people there for when I get lost.

I’ll just get lost in my own mind tomorrow, riding endlessly everywhere.  I’m hoping the trails will be dry enough.  We got a lot of rain last night, and the mountains got snow.  Which I am very excited about.

Monday had a great day at swimming got in about 2200.  My swim coach thinks I can swim my 100 on 1:15, I told her ‘you’re on crack’.  My yurtle time is 1:40, but I like that way that feels, it’s so easy and comfortable.  I was supposed to test my 100 on Wednesday, it will have to wait.

I had an awesome 4.5  hour bike ride last Thursday.  Friday I took off, Saturday we went for a hike, Sunday I ran…

It’s been good, life is good, and even when it doesn’t feel like it, I stay focused on the infinity of Goodness.
