ABQ NM 9 Mile TT
Well, I didn’t win, and I didn’t lose. I almost barfed twice. And I met some great people. Saw Rod and another old acquaintance Sylvio. 9 miles in 26 something. That’s a good ride considering I rode the Crest yesterday, I’m at altitude, and I ride a 6 year old Klein, with Time Mountain Bike pedals.
That’s my first race post since breaking my jaw. I was able to confidently go into aero position on the handlebars. I was able to ride the hills without braking, and with pedaling strong, in the aero position.
The Mojo is coming back. One day at a time, still. I’m not sure if I left it all out there, I think, I did.
Feel like barfing still. I wonder why.
This morning was tough, the monkey and I have massive Gluten Toxicity. Won’t ever go to Los Cuates again. There is something in there that has massive amounts of gluten in it. Uck!
Both monkeys want road bikes. Yes, siree, my pleasure. Wonder what Santa will bring? :o)
Tomorrow we head back, it’s sad, I love it here, and I go back to a Natural Gas Rig, that I am sure is fully operational now that is .2 of a mile from my beautiful home. I go back to the ‘natural gas headache’ and the inability to function at a normal level. The hydrocarbons and the disulphides are so high, we get burning in the throat, eyes, metallic tastes in our mouth. I wish I didn’t have to go back to the thing that is sucking the life out of me. The Natural Gas Exploration and the lying of our Texas Governmental Body, the Texas Center of Environmental Quality. The organization that when you cross compare air samples results the difference in Benzene: TCEQ = .27 bbp vs. Private Environmental Testing: 1 ppb. They’re lying, and it’s making all of North Texas sick. And our governor, Rick Perry, he’s taking it up the butt from the industry. I can’t remember the money he’s received from the industry, I think , it’s like 900,000. Coming from an industry that gave 234 million for lobbying last year, it’s a no wonder why the American People are getting taking advantage of, why their water is coming up contaminated with surfactants and natural gas. It’s a no wonder the children are getting cancer.
In the meanwhile, I’ll keep fighting the industry and informing the people of the dangers of what we face.
