A Zoefitness Promise for 2015:
Photographs of Zoefitness Camps and Clinics.
I get so darn excited and I am so happy to be hosting camps and clinics, I forget to take pictures of the group! No more!! I promise to do better from this day forward. Kinda hard to believe, I forget to take pictures?!?! I guess, that is the proof of how excited and nervous I get!! 🙂
October 12th was the First Annual Zoefitness Marathon and Ultra-Endurance Mountain Bike Clinic at Northshore Trails, Dallas, Texas.
It was a perfect day, with perfect participants. Somehow through magical Zoefitness love, the trail I decided to host the clinic at, was the only trail in DFW that was open. In the middle of rain, it was a beautiful day, and a great day of riding.
We began with an example set up of a 24 hour pit, and a Marathon Race transition example. We reviewed a power point hand out I put together for everyone and hit the trail. There were some great questions, and Justin and I really enjoyed the energy of the group!
I am so grateful for everyone who came out to participate in and help in the success of the Clinic, thank you so much!
It was a busy 2 days; I got to work with some clients. I went to see my friends over at Impact Performance. My old workmates, I sure miss being surrounded by such wonderful knowledgeable people! I dropped in on my old Master Swim Program, it was great saying ‘hi’ to Coach Tom, and seeing my dear friend Kat-mandu! I love being in Dallas and seeing my friends!! I always wish I could stay longer and see more friends, my time in DFW is short only because of my health.
I journeyed on to New Mexico for some construction, some riding, some family time, and some participation in a Coaching Certification Clinic. And, of course, some friend time!!
I was pretty stoked to successfully complete the Zoefitness Version of the Watermelon Beatdown Course. It was a great day in the saddle.
Family time was cancelled which was very sad. My youngest had a fever of 104.7 the day before they were supposed to leave. She had a fever for 8 days. It was nerve wrecking to be away. So glad she’s better now. And caught up on school work.
The Saturday before I left I participated in the Level I and Level II Master Swimming Coaching Certification.
I love swimming, and I want others to love swimming too! I’m excited to see how this next level unfolds for me.
After leaving ABQ I headed north through Colorado; got to see an old friend and meet a new one! One that I have been working with and connecting with on social media for years.
We had wheels down at Red Rocks. That was a perfect break from driving.
Home safe and sound, caught up, and ready for some long days in the saddle, as always!
Take Care,
Have Fun,
And Always, Always, Keep the Rubber Side down!!
