A Week in Review

It’s been a great week.

In many ways.

I swam today, and I haven’t been able to because of my Peak.  So that was nice.  I got in a 2100:

100 Swim

300 Swim with snorkel

200 Pull

100 Kick, no fins

4 x 150

swim/swim with fins/pull/swim

4 x 100 IM

200 Reverse Dolphin/Backstroke kick/Swim

I picked up my new bike:

Batman:

Zoe with Batman 1I took him out that day, it was very wet, and kind of scary.  I did a hot lap in 1:17 with mostly walking the Quarry.  Too Scary, new equipment, wet roots and rocks, must  pick up the kids in just over an hour….

Took ‘im out on Saturday, trails were dry, trails were primo.

Great Ride!

Wasn’t even trying and got 2nd overall on the Cistern and a PR.

Can’t wait to ride again!!

The bike is definitely faster than I am!

I will continue to get faster though!!

That’s the Zoefitness moto.

I had to take the Fat Bike out on Monday.  Rainy, wet, slippery!!

No speed records, still trying to get used to Hank the Tank Orgin8.

Some of this weeks exciting Zoefitness news:

1.  Donated time for a book on how to advise exercise for home patients.  Client can now get out of bed on both sides!!

2.  Concluded that an Athlete’s hamstring pain was stemming from a different mountain bike position versus road bike position.  We made the changes and everything is golden now.

3.  A couple of guys at the last DORBA XC Race, exciting, they did awesome!!

4.  Got a sample from Polar Bottle and wrote a review.  Much better than the older models, for sure!!

Brought on 3 new athletes:  one weight loss, and bucket list 12 hour race at Dirty Dozen, one weight loss and endurance, and the other one Dirty Kanza and finish of Ouchita.  Really exciting.  I think, we have this covered.

I want to share so much information, but I realize that Facebook may not be the best place for it.  Mostly because I don’t want to load up people’s pages too much so I’m going to put some interesting finds here today;

New Information.

Happy Trails, and thanks for checking in!

This weekend is the beginning of a great adventure, starting with a 20 hour drive, culminating with the Palo Duro Marathon Mountain Bike Race on November 16th and finalizing with a 20 hour drive.  As much as I love Betty Jo, the 2003 Yukon XL, I can’t wait to have my regular wheels back.
