Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!
Things are beginning to wind down here at the Nance house. I actually slept in until 8 this morning; I know, I know, crazy. I bet that’s why I am still up trying to get some more work done.
My 2.5 hour ride turned into 2 hours and 50 minutes. I did my sprints. After that, it was super slow. I was slow. I was so slow at the end I ran into a buddy of mine who was out for a 12 mile ride, yeah, he’s coming back from what he says is, “from getting fat and lazy.” He told me, “at this pace, I could ride a little further.” I mentioned to him, this is the pace I have been at since Robson Ranch. Not at all embarrassed by my slowness. I don’t usually go out for a 2 plus hour ride at 11 in the morning.
Yesterday Coach Tom of Irving Masters kicked my ars, all the way. I feel slow there too. It’s hard to compare when I’m swimming a 128 yards for every 100 yards. But whatever it is, it makes me feel slow. Especially hearing all those fast kids come in. Got in 26 x 28 hundred. So a good day.
Friday…Got in an awesome 30 minute trail run.
Thursday, good swim.
Wednesday, hour run.
Tuesday nice swim.
Monday…too long ago.
Plus my two days of strength training. I did get in 3 days of swimming, two days of biking and 2-3 days of running.
We just hosted a coach from Wales for the week. The girls did British Challenger Soccer Camp. That was a whole new level of busy for me. Wasn’t big on the chaos, it was fun and Sam our coach was delightful. She was super cool and easy to get along with. The girls were lucky enough to get 4-5 hours of working out in T/Th. Those lucky ducks!
The gas problems continue…They are getting ready to drill really close to the pond. I want out of here, I don’t want to be here while they run the drill 24 hours a day 7 days per week for a minimum of 30 days. One in Argyle has been up for almost 3 months…And then, the fracking, that’s really when shit hits the fan, all that benzene and toulene, xylene, diesel, and methane that go into the air makes me sick. I haven’t had any of those funny twinges that I had been having since Thursday, so that is great news. And totally an indication that there were surfactant and funny stuff in our water Fri/Sat of last week. I haven’t had any funny headaches recently. I started to at the new mud farming pit. The one that has tripled in size in the last 3 weeks. Last Sunday I took pictures at two different Range sites on the BIG hill of leaking pipes. I took the lady from ABC Alliance on the tour on Thursday and they had already spray painted them. So now it doesn’t look like their leaking. I got a good picture of a gas truck leaking all over the floor of the pit while they were filling the truck in Trophy Club. On Thursday while we were doing the tour over by the BIG hill there was a chocolate lab and a German Shepard were running in around with their teenage owner, the lab didn’t look too good, it was obviously wet from swimming in the big Ranger Frac Pond. It was loosing large quanities of hair. Another well in Bartonville has come up with surfactants in it. That’s unconfirmed rumor from a very reliable source. BTW, Red Oak, when our pond comes up with chemicals in it from your drilling we’re going to sue you, we have the pre test. And it’s going to be ugly. We’re going to sue you so big, that we’re going to laugh all the way to the bank. We’re on to you, you big ugly gas companies.
It’s so simple, Halliburton clean up your act.
Dick Cheney, you belong in jail. I believe you should be sued for personal endangerment, that you and our lovely president George W. Bush, JR should be named in every law suit where drilling has left people sick and without clean water.
And if you want me to shut up and stop telling the truth about natural gas drilling your best bet is to give me 750,000 dollars. And that will at least make me go away. I can’t guaranty it will shut me up…but it’s your best bet.
It’s really simple
