What I’m Up To: Offroad Riding!

Hey, what a week of awesome off road training!  Days like these are why I love riding mountain bikes!  I took Monday off, Tuesday I did an hour at Horseshoe trail with 13 hill repeats, very educational, practice siting, speed, drills.

Wednesdasy, no hills, horseshoe, fast, working on siting.

Thursday, Northshore, work on technical skills and siting on the flats.  Had a little bit of a mishap, some pain in the left leg, quite a bit, actually, but didn’t lose the confidence to continue working on sections.  It was fun, made it all they way up the red rock section, by myself.  It was awesome.  I was hoping for a 3 hour tempo.  I really just needed the time, it will cost me 20 dollars in babysitting fees, but it will be well worth it.  I’ll call right now and see if I can set something up.  I don’t really care when, as long as I get it in I’ll be blessed.

I still have a little bit of the crud, I want it to go away.

I want a carbon hardtail 29’er, I’ll try to work that out.

I’ll hope for the best on that!  I also, wouldn’t mind riding my hei he for the rest of the season.  It may take that long to sell it, I don’t want to sell it to early I won’t have a replacement.
