3:20 Feeling Good
Went out by myself today. Saw everybody I know, Kathy, Scott, Spencer, Daniel, Keith Gray. They were all going the opposite way that I was. I was definitely in a social mood, I just didn’t want to deviate from my plan. My plan was to ride 3 hours, and to see if I felt good. I did, so I threw a Jeter Loop in there too.
Trying to see if I can get ready for the Northshore 100.
It felt like the olden days, my Old Man was ready to ride when I got home and off he went. That’s shiny and awesome and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
My ride was great. Felt tired, at first, took me about 30 minutes to get w/u. I would say it was an easy ride, with a lot of spinning. RPE 4-5. So primarily Zone 2. I could have gone 4 hours no problem.
The jaw has been so sore, Ken renewed my Rx for me last week. I took some today. I woke to a dream of having surgery again. Let’s see how the chiropractor and the Acupuncture works out on Monday.
We are heading to the hills on Thursday. I can’t wait. Hyde State Park here we come. Kimmie is ready for me, we’re going to do our timed ride up the mountain on Friday. Ken’s got to work, so we had to make arrangements. I would like to ride the Dale Ball trail, I don’t think I’ll be able to, I don’t want to get lost, and Kimmie and I did several times when we were doing the Big Friggin’ Loop. I think, I still have those maps, so I may bring them.
57 degrees tonight. I can NOT wait to cool down! We’re going to do it in two weeks too, I can’t wait.
