11.5 miles Knob Hill out and back
Started this morning off at 4 AM, cappuccino, 4 eggs scrambled, C-monster and trail at 5:15. It was so dark, I drove by the park entrance. That was funny. Had my head lamp on. I have decided I like running in the dark better than running during the day. You can’t see where you are going and the next thing you know, it’s time to turn around.
After 6 huge cobwebs I finally decided to grab a stick. I felt very primal. Felt like I was born to run. The stick helped with the cobwebs, and helped me align with my indigenous self and Great Spirit. Once the sun came up it became a lot harder to keep my pace, I seemed to slow down.
I really have no idea how long it was in distance, it took me 2 hours.
Yesterday I had a great swim.
The jaw is the limiting factor in the pool right now. Workout was supposed to be over 3000 yards, I got in 3000, I had to stop because my jaw locks up and starts to hurt really bad. I don’t like being lame and skipping work, but I know not to push myself when there’s pain and snapping.
I have/want to get it fixed.
Tuesday I ran 3.5 miles averaging 8:14 a mile. I want that to be sub 8. Swam about a 3400. Did cut that workout a little short too.
Great week, lots of love.
