10.13.2010 I’m so dam tirurd
And I don’t think it’s the air quality. At least, I’m not sure.
It should be that I wake up and run 1.5 to 2 hours around the neighborhood, and then, take a shower at my own beautiful home. Instead I recognized on my walk, it would be in my best interest to go somewhere else to run for cleaner air, and fresh water to bath in.
Never take for granted the small things in life that you have, or we have.
I left town at 7:45 and headed to the trail for a 90 minute run. A run that used to seem very long to me now passes by like a 5 k.
It was a good run. It felt good and Horseshoe trail is by the lake so I was able to scream, “thank you God”. On my second lap, don’t worry it wasn’t a full lap, it was a half lap, out by the lake up on shore, on a bank.
There’s so much beauty in the world it is very difficult for me to understand why we are destroying all God gave to us. We are surrounded by the beauty of all things, it’s important to recognize the beauty and give thanks for it.
If we all gave thanks to God in the beauty of all glory, I truly believe, we would be more gentle with Earth.
Yesterday I ran Twin Coves Park. 6 miles/60 minutes. It was pretty good. Long hard hills, technical terrain, another true blessing.
Today was better, I saw a Blue Jay.
Monday’s swim was awesome. It was long, I only had time for 2900. It felt good, really good.
I really wish I didn’t have to coach soccer, I want to watch T.V. and snuggle. That’s my favorite thing in the whole world.
